Our Hope In Christ

When I first visited Special Kids in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, I knew immediately that God was calling me to begin a similar ministry in Sumner County. I had never experienced what I experienced that day. For the first time since I became a mother, my soul was at peace. I am certain that our common faith made all of the difference.

As such, it is important to me that all who visit Faces of Hope know that our mission and vision is centered in truly giving hope to children and families with autism and other special needs.

We all have been blessed with gifts that we can use in fulfilling our mission, and we know that Jesus is always with us. At Faces of Hope, we serve Him by serving families who have children with special needs. Jesus Christ spent His life seeking out and meeting needs in a caring, compassionate manner. Our staff and Board of Directors have been blessed with the ability, mission, and platform to imitate Jesus Christ' ministry through Faces of Hope.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). Through this Scripture, we seek to glorify Jesus Christ and meet the needs of everyone we touch.

The tag line at Special Kids is “—one child, one family, one community at a time.” Because of their vision and faithfulness at Special Kids, they inspired this Mom—in her own community—to  begin her own ministry to “lend and restore hope to children and families with autism and other special needs” through Faces of Hope.
